Abstract

The research is motivated by educational supervision practices that still tend to be bureaucratic, administrative, and pay little attention to aspects of teacher professional development. This study aims to construct the implementation of the Developmental Supervision model in Islamic education management based on the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a maudhu'i interpretation approach to the verses of the Qur'an and Hadith relevant to the concepts of coaching, leadership, and human resource development. The results show that the three orientations of developmental supervision, namely directive, collaborative, and non-directive, have an epistemological basis in Islam which is reflected in the principles of Irsyad (direction), Syura (deliberation), and Tafwidl (delegation). In addition, the concepts of Itqan and Ad-Dinu An-Nasihah strengthen the role of supervisors as professional guides and moral educators who encourage teacher independence and competency development. The contribution of this study lies in the development of a conceptual model of developmental supervision based on Islamic values that integrates managerial, pedagogical, and spiritual aspects. This model provides a theoretical framework for the development of Islamic educational supervision that is more humanistic, participatory, and oriented towards continuously improving teacher professionalism
