Abstract
This study examines the role of madrasah principal leadership in improving the quality of educational services at MAN 4 Jombang using a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with informants: the madrasah principal, vice-principal, head of administration, guidance and counseling teacher, and the madrasah committee. Data analysis was carried out interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions that were carried out continuously throughout the research process. The results showed that madrasah principals implemented various leadership styles such as transformational, democratic, situational, and exemplary leadership that were carried out through the EMASLIM function, and the quality of educational services analyzed using the SERVQUAL framework was seen in the aspects of infrastructure, administrative services, responsiveness, academic achievement and character, and learning that was oriented to student needs. Overall, madrasah principal leadership contributed to improving service quality through alignment of vision, coordination, coaching, and continuous program innovation
