Abstract
Elementary school students still face challenges regarding English language skills, specifically in terms of participation, motivation, vocabulary mastery, and the confidence to communicate. This situation highlights the need for learning media that are more interactive and student-centered. This community service initiative aims to introduce the "Snowball Throwing" educational game as a tool for teaching English to fourth-grade elementary students. The activity employed a qualitative approach, involving observations of 22 fourth-grade students. The stages of the activity included problem identification, an introduction to the educational game, the implementation of the Snowball Throwing game, evaluation, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively by observing student participation, engagement, confidence, and responses during the learning session. The observations revealed that the Snowball Throwing game encouraged students to participate more actively, engage in discussions and collaboration, and confidently answer questions in English. Students also demonstrated greater enthusiasm and self-confidence throughout the activity, finding it easier to engage in vocabulary exercises and simple communication. Based on these observations, the Snowball Throwing educational game serves as a viable, interactive, and enjoyable alternative learning medium to foster student engagement in English lessons at the elementary school level.
