Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious character values as part of efforts to address the moral crisis among students, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors at SMK Negeri 3 Alasa. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, the vice-principal for student affairs, teachers, and students as informants. Data analysis proceeded through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that religious character values are implemented through positive habituation, routine school activities, attitude development, and the integration of religious values into classroom instruction. This implementation fosters values such as empathy, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, and mutual respect. Supporting factors include school commitment, the involvement of the school community, teachers serving as role models, and a positive school culture. Inhibiting factors include suboptimal supervision outside school hours, as well as the influence of the students' environments and negative habits. These findings demonstrate that religious character plays a crucial role in the school's efforts to shape students' moral behavior.
