Implementasi Program Sosialisasi Anti-Bullying sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Perilaku Perundungan pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Nagari Sungai Kamuyang

Abstract

Background: Bullying is a serious issue in elementary schools and can negatively affect children’s social and emotional development. Objective: This study aims to describe the implementation of an anti-bullying socialization program among elementary school students in Sungai Kamuyang. Method: This study used a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at SDN 01 Sungai Kamuyang and SDN 03 Sungai Kamuyang. Data were collected through observation, socialization activities, discussions, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. Result: The results showed that students initially had limited understanding of bullying. After the socialization, students showed better understanding and positive behavioral changes. Conclusion: Anti-bullying socialization can increase students’ awareness and help prevent bullying in the school environment.This study was limited to two elementary schools and did not use pre-test and post-test instruments. It is recommended that future research expand the scope of schools, use pre-test and post-test designs, and actively involve parents in anti-bullying programs.
