Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of educational information systems in responding to global changes in the Society 5.0 era at UPTD SD Negeri 01 Sarilamak. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the transformation of the education information system has not been optimal because administrative management is still dominated by manual methods, the use of learning technology is still limited, and the digital competence of human resources is inadequate. The main obstacles include limited technological infrastructure, low digital literacy, and minimal policy support. Nevertheless, schools have the potential to develop more adaptive education information systems through learning digitization programs and strengthening digital competence. Therefore, a transformation strategy is needed that includes infrastructure development, human resource capacity building, implementation of integrated information systems, and strengthening collaboration with various stakeholders. This transformation is expected to improve the effectiveness of education management and support school readiness for the Society 5.0 era.
