Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Human AI-Collaboration in enhancing employee adaptive performance in Indonesian digital companies. Amid rapid digital transformation, employees' ability to adapt to change has become a critical organizational success factor. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach, distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents who are employees of digital companies in Indonesia. The research instrument used a 1-5 Likert scale covering four main dimensions: AI usage intensity in work, human-AI collaboration quality, cognitive adaptation capability, and adaptive performance improvement. Results showed a grand mean of 4.06, categorized as 'Agree'. The human-AI collaboration quality dimension obtained the highest score of 4.21, while the cognitive adaptation capability dimension received the lowest score of 3.88. A total of 84% of respondents stated that Human AI-Collaboration positively contributes to their adaptive performance improvement. This study concludes that AI integration in digital work environments, supported by appropriate training and organizational policies, can significantly improve employee adaptive performance.
